Mike Kus

Mike Kus is a more traditional Graphic designer, his work incorporates branding, graphic/web design, illustration and photography. Kus work involves text, this allows him to work a wider range of explaining to an audience of what a product is. This therefore allows form and function to work together. Kus finds his inspiration everywhere, he looks at old adverts and websites to take apart and see what he can do differently, if not old packaging and adverts.

I chose his work because of the simple but complex designs to overlap each other but mixed with Photography, the composition is chosen well to help execute the vision. The colour contrast between the black and white colour and colourful text, it helps the eyes move between both worlds and also understand the message behind to help the audience to understand. Kus has a excellent understanding on how to bring messages but also design to incorporate each other.
